What should have cost me: $83.88

You can get free Kotex again this week at Walgreens with the new Kotex $1/1 coupon that came in SS. Also, this is the best deal that I have seen for Huggies Swimmers, so you might want to stock up on these since summer time is here. We love swimming at my house.

Sunscreen Time!

Now that summer is here, it is time to get stocked up on some sunscreen and Target is the place to go this week.
What should have cost me: $14.98
I paid only: $5.98
You can get cheaper ones, but we like SPF 50 in my house, so I was willing to pay the little extra for it. The deal is when you buy any 2 Banana Boat items, you get a $5.00 gift card.

Banana Boat:    2 x $7.49 = $14.98
MF Coupon ($1/1):               $1.00 (SS)

That makes them only $2.99 a can and I think it is a great deal for sunscreen!

Happy Banana Boat!

Candy Bar Deal

Macey's has Nestle candy bars for only $0.50 this week. I tried to price match these at Walmart but they only carry Butterfingers, which is great but I like to have a mixture of candy bars.
What should have cost me: $2.67
I paid only: $0.90
This is a GREAT deal since one candy bar cost $0.89. I stocked up on these to give out as gifts and of course as a snack when I get the chocolate itch. By the way, these are your three choices, I love BabyRuths!

Nestle:        3 x $0.50 = $1.50
MF Coupon ($0.60/3):   $0.60 (RP)
Total:                              $0.90

That makes them $0.30 each!

Happy Sugar High!

Free Pistachios

I never would have thought to look at staples for these but I'm good with making a trip for some FREE Pistachios. The coupon doesn't have a size restriction and when I checked out, the coupons rung up just fine and I didn't have to pay tax. Subtotal = $0.00!
What should have cost me: $4.00
I got for FREE!
Pistachios:             $1.00
MF Coupon ($1/1):   $1.00
Total:                         FREE

Make sure you are checking in the $1 section for these.

Happy Free Pistachios!

Gold 'N Plump Chicken At Target

If you were able to grab the Target coupon for $1.50 off 2, you are going to want to grab this deal with it. Even if you didn't get the Target coupon, this is still a great deal without it.
What should have cost me: $10.58
I paid only: $3.44
I actually bought two bags but I only took a picture of one.

Gold 'N Plump:   2 x $3.97 = $7.94
Target Coupon ($1.50/2):         $1.50
MF Coupon ($1.50/1):               $1.50
MF Coupon ($1.50/1):               $1.50
Total:                                          $3.44

Without the Target coupon it would be $2.47 for one twin pack and this is a great deal. Even if you don't eat it for a while, you can always throw it in the freezer for another time.

Happy Gold 'N Plump!

Gerber Deal At Smiths

There is a great deal at Smiths that ends on the 13th of this month. My kids love Gerber meals, so I couldn't pass this up.
What should have cost me: $15.87
I paid only: $7.56
Purchase requirements
Buy (5) & get $2.00... or
Buy (7) & get $3.00... or
Buy (10) or more & get $4.00...
...coupon off your next shopping order.

I did the math for what I wanted and decided that 10 was my best option out of the three. Here is how the deal works.

Gerber Puffs:                            $2.10
Gerber Pastas:      9 x $1.34 = $12.06
MF Coupon ($0.50/2):                 $0.50
Total out of pocket:                    $13.66
Smiths Rewards:                         $4.00
Rebate:                                          $2.10
Total:                                             $7.56

The coupon was from the golden envelope that Smiths sent out.

The reward that prints out will look like this and is good towards your next purchase.

I decided to go with the Puffs as my 10th item because the rebate will bring my total cost down even more.

Each item ended up being $0.76 each, which I am really happy with.

Happy Gerber!
